Banana Pudding Milkshake

Standard

Ok, so I absolutely love the Banana Pudding Milkshake from Chick-Fil-A, BUT I refuse to take in over 1000 Calories (in the large and 780 in the small) for a dessert.

I decided to make my own version of this, so I first decided to google it! 🙂 I found a recipe by Confessions of a Cookbook Queen.

I used it as my template to create my own.

I used Skim Milk, Yogurt Blends Ice Cream, and Cool Whip Light to lighten it.

According to my calculations, if you drink the entire large milkshake that this recipe makes, you will have consumed approximately 670 calories, but if you are nice and SHARE with someone…making two small milkshakes…you are only consuming 335! Much better! 🙂

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup milk

3 TBS instant banana cream pudding MIX

1/2 cup FROZEN whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)

10 vanilla wafers

1 cup vanilla ice cream

Whipped cream, bananas, and vanilla wafers for garnish

Place ingredients in the blender in the order listed above. Blend until well mixed. Pour into a glass and garnish with whipped cream, cookies and banana slices.

Makes one large or two small shakes.
