Rice, Beans & Salsa – Slow Cooker


This is a great one dish meal…an easy one to keep on hand at the house for any night!


1 (16oz) can black beans, drained

1 (16oz) can cannelloni beans or navy beans, drained

1 (14oz) can chicken broth

1 cup uncooked long grain rice, not instant

1 quart salsa

1 cup water

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Combine all ingredients in the crock. Stir well. Cover and cook on low for 10 hours or High for 5 hours.

Makes about 3 quarts.
