Baked Apples – Slow Cooker

This makes me look forward to Fall! (And I LOVE the Spring!)

6 large baking apples (Rome or York)

2 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp butter, melted

3 tbsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

Peel, core and cut apples in half. Place in crock. Drizzles with lemon juice and butter.  Sprinkle with sugar and spices. Cover and cook on:

Low for 4 hours or High for 2 hours.

To serve, top with vanilla ice cream.

Makes 10 servings.
