This is a different take on beef stew, so I thought I’d share.
2.5 pounds boneless beef stewing cubes
1 (10oz) bag frozen mixed vegetables
1 (15oz) can tomato sauce
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp chopped onion
1 (1.5 oz) envelope beef stew seasoning mix
Combine all ingredients in the crock. Stir well. Cover and cook on:
Low for 10 hours or High for 5 hours. Makes 3 quarts.
To make 5 quarts, use a larger (5-6.5 quart) crock pot and double the amount of meat, tomato sauce and seasoning mix; use 3 bags of mixed veggies, and use 1/4 cup of chopped onion.
