German-Style Pot Roast – Slow Cooker Meal

Ingredients:

1/3 cup cider vinegar

2 tbsp ketchup

1/4 cup chopped onion

1/2 tsp chopped garlic

1 (14oz) can beef broth

8 ginger snap cookies

1 (0.8oz) envelope brown gravy mix

2-3 pounds boneless chuck or bottom round roast

Directions:

Combine all ingredients, except the meat, in the crock. Stir well. Add the meat and stir well to coat. Cover and cook on:

Low for 10 hours or High for 5 hours.

Makes 4+ servings.

To make 8+ servings, use the following:

3/4 cup cider vinegar

1/4 cup ketchup

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 tsp chopped garlic

2 (14oz) cans beef broth

12 ginger snap cookies

2 (0.8oz) envelope brown gravy mix

4-5 pounds boneless chuck or bottom round roast
